Parents Advisory Committee

Mission:
To ensure the lines of communication, between the school administration and parents, remain open and supportive.

The PAC concept was initiated about 20 years ago and has remained active and growing each year. Members and officers represent each classroom, as well as, the school administration. Meetings are held as forums to generate new ideas for student activities, develop fund-raising initiatives and to offer suggestions in areas of improvement. It takes many voices, suggestions and volunteers to make this the effective organization that it continues to be.

Some of the fundraising activities sponsored by the PAC include:

• Friday Pizza Days
  
• Monthly Birthday Assemblies
  
• Summer Read-a-Thon
  
• Visits by the Ice Cream man
  
• Teacher Appreciation Luncheons
  
• Make Your Own Sundae Day
  
• Field Trips to the Library, Plimouth Plantation and many other educational locations

We encourage all parents to attend our meetings and to let us know if they have any special interests that they would like to share with our children.
